A few days are left for the UGC NET December 2023 exam, as the exam dates are near, the heart palpitations are increasing, and the level of anxiety and stress also increasing. Questions like Am I able to make it? Will I clear the exam? Will I remember everything during the exam? and many more are poking into your mind. These questions are just normal, we can't skip these questions, but what we can do is, we can make a new routine so that these questions will not disturb us. So in this article, we will learn about how to overcome exam anxiety.

1. Reducing Anxiety with Effective Studying

As you are already studying very hard, taking notes, revising all the information as per your schedule, and always being an active student, then you don't have anxiety issues, as you are already above those students, who are not doing this.

2. Give yourself reasonable time for studying

Waiting for the exam day, and thinking that I will do everything before the exam date, it is definitely left you in a bad situation. So you should not wait until the last minute, start today, as time will not stop or come again. If you are waiting until the last minute, then definitely, anxiety will become more burden on you and you will not be able to recover that time. So it is better for you to make changes in your present schedule, and give yourself enough time to study, rest, tea breaks, etc. as per your requirement.

As time is very short, also make a schedule for taking a mock test on a daily basis, as it will enhance your speed. Start working on weak and strong points, as it will also help during the exam to determine what you should skip or not.

3. Organize your study material

You do not have much time to find out the relevant notes for your study, so make sure that you have organized your notes in a very good manner. A good student always makes notes for preparation, as it reduces the time during the revision, so try to make notes and organize them.

4. Take breaks while studying

Although you already working very hard for your goal, it is better to take a few minutes for yourself and rest or do whatever suits your timetable. But do not spend a lot time, as it will trigger anxiety level of yours. So it better to take short break rather than long break. During your break you also enjoy your favourite songs.

5. Take proper sleep

Sleep always being a best medicine to reduce your anxiety level, so you should have a proper time to sleep. When you sleep, it will reduce your anxiety and stress level, and also make you feel fresh. As a result you can start your day and your preparation with freshness.

6. Do not think too much

Do not think too much when you are studying and after study. Thinking will supress your motivation of study and lead another level of anxiety, which is not good your health and your study. So make sure when you are studying or busy in some other task, so do not try to think too much negatively.

7. Eat Healthy

As you already studying tirelessly, so few things you should not skip i.e. a proper amount of sleep and a healthy diet. During the level of anxiety, student do not think about their diet, they thought if they take time for their diet, it will reduce their studying time, do not think like that, eat healthy so that you can study hard.
