NTA UGC NET /JRF 2023 Notification Out :- In the month of October 2023, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the University Grant Commission UGC NET / JRF in December 2023. UGC – NET December Exam 2023

The UGC NET December Exam 2023 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in multi shifts as per the time schedule specified in the Information at a glance, in the Subjects given at Appendix -III in selected Cities spread across the Country (Appendix -IV).

Mode of Examination:

The Examination shall be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.

The questions in Paper I intends to assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, reading comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the Candidate.

Medium of Question Paper: Bilingual (Hindi & English)

Marking Scheme

(a) Each question carries 02 marks.

(b) Candidate will get 02 (two) marks for each correct response,

(c) No negative marking for incorrect response.

(d) No marks will be given for questions un-answered/un-attempted/marked for Review.

Qualifying Examination:

  • General/Unreserved/ General-EWS candidates who have secured at least 55% marks.
  • The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination have been completed by 19 September 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in NET.
