Eligibility Check

• Verify eligibility criteria in UGC NET notification.

Online Registration

• Visit UGC NET website (https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/).
• Register with personal details.
• Receive application number and password.

Fill Application Form

• Log in with application number and password.
• Complete the form with required details.
• Upload passport-sized photo (JPEG, 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, 10KB - 200KB)
• Signature (JPEG, 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm, 4KB - 30KB).

Application Fee Payment

• Choose payment method (credit/debit card, net banking, UPI, or e-challan) and pay the fee according to your category:

• General/Unreserved: Rs. 1150/-
• General-EWS/OBC-NCL: Rs. 600/-
• SC/ST/PwD & Third Gender: Rs. 325/-
• Note: Check the UGC NET notification for any fee exemptions or reductions applicable to your category.

Print Confirmation Page

• Download and print the confirmation page.
• Keep it safe for reference.

Correction Period (if needed)

• Correct form fields during the specified correction window.

Admit Card Download

• Download admit card from the UGC NET website using login credentials.
