CTET Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria

As per NCTE guidelines, candidates pursuing Teacher Training Courses are now eligible to apply for CTET Exam 2025.

Eligibility for Paper I (Classes I-V)

  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed./D.Ed.

Eligibility for Paper II (Classes VI-VIII)

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed/B.El.Ed/D.El.Ed.

CTET Exam 2025 Selection Process

The CTET selection process involves a written examination with two papers:

  • Paper I: For candidates who want to teach Classes I-V.
  • Paper II: For candidates who want to teach Classes VI-VIII.

Each paper consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying one mark each, with no negative marking. To qualify, candidates must score at least 60% (relaxed for reserved categories).
