MP SET Exam Date 2026

As per the latest notification released by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC), the MP SET Exam 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on 11 January 2026. The online application process for MP SET 2026 began on 25 October 2026, and the last date to apply was extended to 27 November 2026, giving candidates additional time to complete the registration. The MP SET Admit Card 2026 is expected to be released in January 2026, a few days prior to the examination date.

MP SET Exam Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates who fulfill these criteria are eligible to apply for MP SET and appear for the selection process. The eligibility criteria for MP SET exams are as follows: 

  1. MP SET Eligibility Educational Qualifications:
  • Candidates should have a Master’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university in the subject they want to appear for in MP SET.
  • General category candidates must have scored a minimum of 55% in their Master’s degree, which is equivalent to some qualification.
  • For candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD), the minimum marks shall be 50%.
  • Candidates who are in the last year of their Master’s degree or equivalent can apply, provided they complete requirements for the degree within the validity period of MP SET.

 

  1. MP SET Age Limit: No upper age limit applies to candidates applying for MP SET.

 

  1. Required Subjects for MP SET: A candidate must select a subject in which he/she has acquired his/her Master’s degree. The subjects opted for MP SET are similar to various disciplines of arts, science, commerce and social science.

 

  1. Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwD: Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwD categories get relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks.

  1. Reservation: According to the directives of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, reservations would be made available as applicable by the state’s norms for SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates.

MP SET Application form 2026

The MP SET application period usually occurs between March and May each year. The MP SET application form for 2026 will be available online between March and May through the official Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) website. Candidates have to first register with basic details such as their name, email and mobile number to create an account. Once registered, they will be able to log in to fill out the application form, which will ask them for personal and educational details. Candidates have to select their preferred exam center. They have to choose one subject for Paper 2 according to their academic qualification. After that, they have to fill out the form and pay the prescribed fee. MP SET Answer Key 2026 Out

The MP SET 2026 answer key has been released by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) on its official website, mppsc.mp.gov.in.
