The re-examination is being conducted for English, Commerce and Sociology after NTA found multiple errors in the question papers. The re-exam will take place on September 9 and 10, 2026 for English, Commerce, and Sociology. UGC NET Re-Exam Admit Card 2026: Latest Update<\/b><\/h2>\n

NTA issued a public notice on 16 August 2026 concerning the re-conducting of the UGC NET examination for the subjects English, Commerce, and Sociology. The decision was made following an investigation by a committee into the concerns raised by candidates regarding errors such as factual, typographical, translation and other errors in the three question papers.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a fresh public notice dated 01 September 2026, NTA has now announced the Advance Intimation for Allotment of Examination City for the said re-examination. Candidates will be able to view and download their Examination City Intimation Slip starting from 01 September 2026 via their login details. The examination is to take place on 09 September 2026 and 10 September 2026. NTA has further announced that the UGC NET June 2026 Admit Card will be issued later.<\/span><\/p>\n
