UGC NET December 2026 Exam Date:<\/b> NTA has released the tentative schedule for December 2026 to March 2027. As per the new schedule issued by NTA, the UGC NET December 2026 exam is scheduled to be held from 14 to 19 December 2026. In addition, the dates of 20 and 21 December 2026 have been kept as the buffer days for the UGC NET exam.<\/span><\/p>\n

It can be seen that the above dates provide some idea about the UGC NET December 2026 exam schedule. However, the dates are tentative and may be changed by NTA. The detailed subject-wise schedule, shift timings and other exam-related information will be announced separately.<\/span><\/p>\n

What Are the Buffer Dates?<\/p>\n

NTA has declared December 20 and 21, 2026, as buffer dates along with the main exam days for UGC NET. As such, candidates are required to consider the mentioned dates while planning their travels and other activities around the time of the exams. The declaration of buffer days does not automatically mean that all candidates will appear on December 20 or 21. Candidates are required to attend their exams based on the final exam date and shift allotted to them.<\/span><\/p>\n
