The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a nationwide teaching exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is held twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in primary (Classes 1 to 5) and elementary (Classes 6 to 8) schools across India. The 19th edition of the CTET exam will be held on 7th July 2024.

To apply for the CTET 2024 July exam, follow these steps:
Visit the official website ctet.nic.in.
Click “New Registration”.
Fill in the online application form with personal details to get the Registration Number.
Submit your photograph and signature following the specified format.
Make the payment for the examination fee through e-challan, debit card, credit card, or net banking.

Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications to apply for CTET:
Primary Stage (Classes I-V)
Passed class 12th with at least 50% marks and a 2-year diploma in elementary education.
Passed class 12th with at least 45% marks and a 2-year diploma in elementary education.
Passed class 12th with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education.
Passed class 12th with at least 50% marks and a 2-year diploma in education (Special Education).
Completed graduation with a Bachelor of Education degree, achieving a minimum of 50% marks.
Elementary Stage (Classes VI-VIII)
Completed a 2-year diploma program in elementary education after graduation.
Graduated with at least 50% marks and a 1-year Bachelor in Education.
Graduated with at least 45% marks and a 1-year Bachelor in Education.
Passed class 12th with at least 50% marks and obtained a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education degree.
Passed class 12th with at least 50% marks and a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
Graduated with at least 50% marks and a 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) degree.
Qualified B.Ed. program recognized by NCTE.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old to apply for the CTET exam. There is no upper age limit.

Candidates can download their CTET 2024 admit card by following these steps:

Click on “Download CTET Admit Card”.
Enter your CTET 2024 Registration Number and Date of Birth.
Download and print the admit card.
The CTET answer key will be released on the official website after the exam. Candidates can dispute the answer key by paying Rs. 1000 per question. The CTET result will be declared on the official website, and candidates can check their qualifying status online.
