The upcoming 20th edition of CTET will be held on December 14th, 2024, under CBSE's administration. Candidates can opt for either Hindi or English medium in this OMR-based paper examination.

    • Signature should be within 1 KB-25 KB

Eligibility Criteria

Paper I (Primary Level)

  • Senior Secondary (12th) with minimum 50% marks

  • Any of the following:

    • 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education

    • 4-year B.El.Ed Programme

    • 2-year D.Ed (Special Education)

Paper II (Upper Primary Level)

  • Graduation with B.Ed

  • 4-year Integrated BA/B.Sc.Ed

  • Master's degree (minimum 50% marks)

  • 2-year D.Ed (Special Education)

Examination Pattern

Paper I Units (150 marks)

Paper II Units (150 marks)

  • Child Development & Pedagogy: 30 marks

  • Language I & II: 30 marks each

  • Mathematics: 30 marks

  • Environmental Studies: 30 marks

  • Child Development & Pedagogy: 30 marks

  • Language I & II: 30 marks each

  • Either:

    • Mathematics & Science (60 marks)

    • Social Studies/Social Science (60 marks)
