 JKSET 2024 Examination Details 

The JKSET Examination, designed to determine eligibility for Assistant Professor positions in Universities and Colleges across Jammu & Kashmir (JKSET) and Ladakh (LASET), will be held on October 20, 2024 .  The University of Jammu will conduct the exam in 41 subjects at various centres in Jammu, Srinagar, and Leh.

JKSET Eligibility Criteria 2024 

Minimum Educational Qualification 

- General Category: Candidates must have a master's degree or equivalent from a UGC-recognized university with at least 55% marks (without rounding off). 

- Reserved Categories (SC/ST/PWD/Transgender) : Candidates must have at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in their master's degree. 

- Ph.D. Holders: Candidates who completed their master's degree by September 19, 1991, are eligible for a 5% relaxation in marks (50% instead of 55%). 

   Provisional Application 

Candidates awaiting their master's degree results can apply provisionally but must secure the required marks within two years.
