In his tweet, he stated, "The National Testing Agency and UGC have decided to shift the UGC-NET from 16 June (Sunday) to 18 June 2024 (Tuesday) because of feedback received from candidates."

Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the UGC NET is a crucial examination for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Assistant Professor position, as well as the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian universities and colleges.
